Suffolk Stage Announces Exciting Media Partnership With Gen X Radio

The much-anticipated Tour of Britain is set to make its thrilling arrival in Suffolk on 7th September, with unwavering support from esteemed stage host partners including Suffolk Growth Partnership, East Suffolk Council, Suffolk County Council, Babergh and Mid Suffolk. Adding to the excitement, the event will be enhanced by a significant media partnership with Suffolk's own Gen X Radio, an initiative led by local radio icon James Hazell, who has been serving the listeners of East Anglia for over 35 years.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Tour of Britain in Suffolk and to announce our partnership as the official media partner," said James Hazell owner of Gen-X radio Suffolk.

"Our mission is clear - to be the voice of Suffolk once again, supporting local causes, engaging with our listeners, and providing a trustworthy and entertaining platform for all. Bringing our listeners all the news and developments from the build-up to the Tour, and on the day, fits perfectly with this remit”.

James and his team are on a noble mission to bring genuine and affordable local radio back to Suffolk with Gen X Radio Suffolk.

With an invigorating blend of chat, news, and debate, complemented by an eclectic selection of brilliant music from the last sixty years Gen X Radio Suffolk aims to not only entertain but also to serve as a vital platform for the county; celebrating the positive aspects of Suffolk life while fearlessly challenging issues that affect the community. The radio station seeks to establish strong relationships with both the listeners and local businesses, acting as a trusted friend and a vibrant platform for open dialogue.

"The proud county of Suffolk deserves a radio station that reflects its spirit and values," added James. "With Gen X Radio Suffolk, we are committed to delivering just that - a radio station that Suffolk can be proud of."

As the Tour of Britain brings excitement to the region, Gen X Radio Suffolk looks forward to being an integral part of the event, announcing Tour related developments and route information as well interviewing key participants, local advocates and partners in the build up to the event itself.
